CaroMont Health gladly welcomed students from the Commissioners’
School of Excellence. The program is a two-week summer residential experience
that challenges selected high school participants to better understand
themselves, life in Gaston County and their roles as future leaders.
Using seminars, problem-solving activities, simulations, field trips and
“hands on” experiences, students examine issues relevant to
the future of Gaston County. The participants are rising sophomores from
all of Gaston County’s high schools, both public and private.
