In partnership with the city of Cherryville, CaroMont Health this week
announced plans to build a new primary and urgent office in Cherryville.
The future site, located at the corner of East Church Street and North
Cherry Street, will relocate CaroMont Family Medicine and add extended
urgent care hours for patients and families in Cherryville and the surrounding
areas. Site clearing will be completed this summer, with construction
for the new, state-of-the-art medical practice beginning in the fall.
Like the primary care and urgent care locations in Gastonia, Dallas, Cramerton
and Belmont, CaroMont Family Medicine and Urgent Care will offer expert,
compassionate primary care during regular business hours, as well as flexible
care options for urgent medical issues with extended hours.
“It’s great to see CaroMont Health growing and bringing an
upgraded experience and new option for medical care to families in Cherryville,”
said Henry Lee Beam, Mayor for the City of Cherryville. “We are
looking forward to the addition of this medical care facility and the
convenience it will offer our residents.”
To prepare for the new practice, CaroMont Health recently added Dr. Rebecca
Love to the care team at CaroMont Family Medicine in Cherryville. Dr.
Love and Ms. Billie Jo Dagenhart, current Nurse Practitioner with the
practice, will lead the team of highly-skilled healthcare professionals
in the office to provide comprehensive primary care and family medicine.
When urgent care is added and the new location opens, the facility will
also include on-site x-ray and lab testing, and will offer flexible schedule
care and treatment for minor illness and injuries, like colds, ear infections
and sprained ankles. The practice will also offer convenient online reservations
and walk-in options for urgent care.
“We have been looking for the right opportunity expand our practice
in Cherryville for quite some time,” said Ryan Campbell, Vice President
for CaroMont Medical Group, “Providing the best care and experience
for patients and families in this area is a priority not only for CaroMont
Family Medicine, but for the entire medical group. We are extremely grateful
for the support we have received from city leaders, and we are proud to
be welcomed into such a tight-knit community. We can’t wait to get
started on this new building and continue to care for the citizens of
Cherryville and the surrounding area.”
Mayor Beam and Cherryville City Officials meet with President and CEO of
CaroMont Health, Chris Peek and Ryan Campbell, Vice President of CaroMont
Medical Group to discuss the construction and future home of CaroMont
Family Medicine and Urgent Care in Cherryville.
The CaroMont Family Medicine & Urgent Care is expected to begin welcoming
patients by 2022.
