Wearing sunscreen is a must, but there are many other ways to protect yourself
from the sun’s harmful rays.
Wearing a lightweight, cotton layer to protect your arms, shoulders and
legs can offer some sun protection, but clothing with built-in sun protection
is even better. Also think about carrying a breezy scarf to cover your
chest when the sun is shining bright.
Find a nice shady spot, stay cool and help minimize your exposure to harmful UV rays.
Always wear a broad spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30.
They’re not just a must-have accessory, but they protect your eyes
from from UVA and UVB rays, too. Look for sunglasses that block 99% or
100% of all UV light.
Hats are the best way to keep your face shaded from the sun. Also, your
scalp can easily get burned! Keep it protected under a hat.
