In partnership with leaders and officials from the Town of Cramerton, CaroMont
Health announced today the start of construction for a state-of-the-art
medical office offering family medicine and specialty care services at
the Villages at Cramerton Mills.
“We are pleased to partner with the Town of Cramerton to bring compassionate
and reliable healthcare care to this area of the region,” said Dr.
Costa Andreou, Executive Vice President for the health system’s
medical group. “As a Cramerton resident, I see every day how quickly
our community is growing. We want to be ready to offer convenient access
to patient-focused primary care for residents well into the future.”
Mayor Will Cauthen agrees this is great news for Cramerton and surrounding areas.
“Providing essential services for citizens is one of our most important
responsibilities,” stated Cauthen. “Convenient access to healthcare
is a critical part of continuing to develop robust service offerings for
individuals and the business community in Cramerton. This effort is made
even more impactful because we have partnered with a well-established
and highly-respected health system.”
Part of the Villages of Cramerton Mills project, the 22,000-square foot
medical office building will serve as anchor tenant for phase one of the
commercial mixed-use project. While CaroMont Health is still finalizing
details for specialty services to be offered, plans for family medicine
and primary care services are settled.
“Our primary care and family medicine plans are finalized at this
point,” said Ryan Campbell, Vice President of Operations for the
health system’s medical group. “We expect to have at least
one physician and several advanced care practitioners in the space, providing
exceptional primary care services every day. For specialty care, we are
working to determine what the community needs. Whether it be cardiovascular,
endocrinology or neurology services, we want to first understand which
offerings will best serve our patients.”
Town Manager, David Pugh, as well as the Mayor and town officials, have
been highly involved in the plans to bring the practice to Cramerton.
“We are looking forward to this partnership with CaroMont Health
for both our citizens and the potential it brings to the business community,”
stated Pugh. “This area has a bright future, and we’re proud
to help lead efforts for continued expansion and development.”
The office is expected to open in late 2019.
