The Hand Center of the Carolinas strives to provide the highest level of
professional hand, wrist and upper extremity care with three board-certified
orthopaedic surgeons with sub-specialty training in hand and wrist surgery.
We treat a wide variety of acute and chronic hand conditions, including
fractures, carpal tunnel syndrome, tendon injuries and hand and wrist
arthritis. For the convenience of our patients, we offer in-office digital
radiography. We also have a hand trained occupational therapist on-site
which allows for greater patient convenience, compliance and continuity
of care. We offer over 20 years of combined experience on staff.
Inpatient and outpatient surgery services are provided in the hospital’s
Perioperative Services Surgery Department, which is equipped with 10 highly
advanced operating rooms and two cystoscopy suites. Selected outpatient
procedures, including low-risk and minor surgeries, are also performed
in the outpatient surgery facility. The facility includes six operating
rooms. Together, these departments deliver a sophisticated level of technology
and skill to more than 1,500 patients per month.
