Clinical Research at CaroMont Health
A clinical trial is specific type of research study designed to evaluate
drugs, devices or treatments not previously approved for use for a variety
of health problems. Clinical trials enroll people to help determine if
these unapproved drugs, devices or procedures are safe and effective.
Clinical trials are designed in an ethical manner to protect patients
from unnecessary side effects to allow truthful and precise collection
of information.
At CaroMont Health we offer clinical trials in the following therapeutic
areas: cardiology, infectious disease, and oncology. If you are interested
