Aortic Root Procedures

Patients with an enlarged aorta at the base of the heart (the aortic root) may require replacement. This surgery is more complex as it requires that the coronary arteries be re-implanted onto the replaced aorta. The surgeons at Caromont are experienced in this procedure.
