- CLiC offers digital imaging versus photo processing of films/x-rays. This allows for a more rapid turn-around of information, enhanced storage, easier comparisons and the ability to integrate with electronic medical records. X-rays allow providers to perform a painless, quick evaluation, often detecting diseases in the early stages, where the chance for recovery is improved. The most common use of x-rays is to detect fractures and other abnormalities of bone, joint disease and lung disease.
- The X-rays performed at CLiC can also be transferred to CD for added convenience with respect to follow up care with your PCP, Orthopedist, etc.
- Sleep Studies
- Patients who have sleep issues may undergo polysomnography—(a sleep study). Polysomnography is used to diagnose sleep disorders and to help identify the optimal treatment for each individual.
- CLiC has two sleep labs. The Sleep Lab features comfortable private rooms equipped with Murphy beds. A sleep study is a non-invasive procedure, patients are simply monitored throughout the night with the use of advanced equipment attached with adhesive electrodes. All bodily functions are monitored simultaneously, including brain, heart, breathing, and muscle function.
- Here at CLiC & Shop we offer health and wellness products aimed at getting a better night’s sleep. In addition to a large assortment of pillows for correct positioning, we have a wide range of products to assist in attaining a more restful sleep. These include light fitness and yoga equipment and workout videos, along with pedometers and heart rate monitors. Additional product areas include light therapy, sound therapy, massage therapy and aromatherapy products to help reduce stress and relax, and we have a wide range of books from sleep disorders to weight management and nutrition.
