When to see a Wound Care Specialist
Chronic wounds cause complex medical problems, including loss of function, pain and compromised quality of life.  If you have a non-healing wound the CaroMont Wound Center has the technology and expertise needed for a cure.  Many wounds heal without intensive intervention. However, certain conditions, such as diabetes, vascular disease, or limited movement, put patients at risk for non-healing or chronic wounds that last more than four weeks. Such wounds benefit from the specialized and intensive treatment available at the Wound Center.
