Hyperbarics & Wound Care

Hyberbarics and Wound Care

Chronic wounds can cause complex medical problems, including pain, loss of function and compromised quality of life. Many wounds heal without intervention; however, certain conditions such as diabetes, vascular disease or limited mobility can put patients at risk for complicated, slow-healing, non-healing or chronic wounds. Such wounds benefit from the specialized and intensive treatment we provide at the CaroMont Hyperbaric and Wound Center. We know that recurring wounds can be a painful disruption to your life, so our team brings unique compassion, skill and understanding to your individual treatment.

Because waiting to seek treatment may increase the need for more intensive interventions, we recommend patients with chronic wounds receive treatment quickly. Our multi-disciplinary team of experts applies a comprehensive approach to help current wounds heal as quickly as possible and prevent future wounds. In order to make the process comfortable and convenient for you, we’ve designed our outpatient center to coordinate closely with your primary physician’s existing services.
