CaroMont Health welcomes Heath High, MD to its medical team. Dr. High will
practice with CaroMont Critical Care Specialists at CaroMont Regional
Medical Center. Critical care, also referred to as intensive care, is
a branch of medicine concerned with life or organ support for patients
who are critically ill and require intensive monitoring.
Bringing extensive experience to his new position, Dr. High offers emergency
and critical care services, with a professional interest in sepsis and
septic shock. Dr. High earned his Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular
Biology with a concentration in Health Sciences, in addition to a minor
in French Language and Francophone Literature and Cultures from Washington
and Jefferson College. He furthered his career by obtaining a Doctor of
Medicine from the American University of the Caribbean.
In his spare time, Dr. High enjoys watching the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles,
running and fitness. He leads his life with his favorite quote, “Family
is not an important thing. It’s everything.”
