CaroMont Health Names Douglas Luckett as Executive Vice President

Gastonia, NC – November 29, 2010 – CaroMont Health announced today that Douglas Luckett will join CaroMont as Executive Vice President (EVP) of Operations Integration effective January 1, 2011. Luckett has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. He comes to CaroMont from Lee Memorial Health System in Florida where he was Chief Administrative Officer since 2005. Luckett’s experience also includes serving as Chief Operating Officer for the Hospital Corporation of America in the Sarasota and Fort Meyers markets and Chief Operating Officer for Health Management Associates facilities in Georgia and Upstate South Carolina.

Luckett’s position as EVP of Operations Integration was recently created when CaroMont realigned its executive leadership’s organizational structure. CaroMont Health’s President and CEO Valinda Rutledge says that Luckett’s addition to the CaroMont executive team is a strategic advantage for CaroMont. “Doug brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge of the healthcare industry. He has the ability to hit the ground running immediately and effectively, which is critical,” Rutledge said. “At CaroMont Health, we strive to achieve the highest quality possible in every area of care we offer. Luckett’s position is responsible for all Clinical Operations at CaroMont Health.
